The Melbourne Andrology Centre has been established to provide clinical services in the field of Andrology. Andrology is the discipline of male reproductive medicine and the Melbourne Andrology Centre will be concentrating on male sexual dysfunction and hormone replacement.

Clinical trials, especially of drugs used for erectile dysfunction, will be conducted at the centre. Information about these trials will be available on this website and those men who are interested in participating will be able to register their interest.

In addition, the Melbourne Andrology Centre will provide consultative services to industry or other bodies seeking advice and assistance in the field of Andrology and will promote professional and community education. Information and links to other services will be available on this website.

The Director is Dr Douglas Lording, an Endocrinologist, with 25 years experience in Andrology. Dr Lording's practice includes men with a range of andrological problems. Dr Lording participates in many clinical trials and is a board member of Andrology Australia. He is Medical Director at Cabrini Hospital, Malvern, where he is also on the board of the Cabrini Clinical Education and Research Institute and the Tony Hitchen Foundation. He is chair of the Cabrini Human Research Ethics Committee and is an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at Monash University.
